Colin is a photographer based out of Chicago with more than a decade of professional experience behind the lens. His pictures exemplify a creative expertise and unique visual aesthetic within the “still life” genre make inanimate subjects feel ever more alive.

Having grown up in the southwestern suburbs of the Windy City, his passion for the craft was born in middle school. Since then, he’s constantly strived to perfect his techniques by challenging himself with new approaches and innovative tech.

When he’s not planning his next photo shoot, Colin spends his time manicuring his beard, expanding his craft beer palate, and being a dedicated cat dad. 

Colin specializes in food photography, shooting everything from prep and plating to beverages and packaged goods. He utilizes various studio and natural lighting techniques in conjunction with playful pops of color to make food and drinks look as brilliant in a photo as they do in the kitchen, over a grill, on a plate, or isolated on a white backdrop.

He’s used this expertise to pivot to product photography for ecommerce, and has a keen eye for capturing the vision behind well-crafted interiors and workspaces. Most recently, Colin has added stop-motion photography to his well-organized bag of tricks.

Colin has been enlisted by companies like PepsiCo, MillerCoors, and Mike’s Hard Lemonade to capture images that embodies their brands. His work is also applauded by foodies and restauranteurs throughout Chicago and Los Angeles.

From a product and spaces photography perspective, Colin has brought to life the brand visions of Reebok, Nike, TurtleWax, and Crate & Barrel.

On the editorial side, Colin’s photography has been featured in both regional and national publications, including ESPN The Magazine, Chicago Magazine, and The Chicago Reader.
